Embrace Care and Support is committed to fair and equitable access practice at our Short-Term Services that are consistent with the NDIS and National Disability Services Act, Equal Opportunity Act 2010 and the Charter of Human Rights. We apply these practices in the management and allocation of resources. we will ensure that each person who meets the eligibility criteria and is seeking a service has access to our Short-Term Services based on available resources.
Short Term fees are set at a daily rate for each overnight stay. NDIS rates (see NDIS costing guide for Short Term Accommodation) apply for Individuals with a NDIS package. You can also self-fund your stay.
Sydney is one of the World’s great cities and its always a good time to visit and explore its most iconic beaches either side of the harbour, Manly beach and Bondi Beach. What a photo opportunity. Sun, surf and world-famous beaches and enjoy delicious food. If you are the adventurous type, how about a guided climb up the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is up to you just how mild or wild you feel. After all it is your trip to enjoy with the great company of like-minded and passionate support people by your side.
And there is time of the year when you can see the harbour including the famous Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Taronga Park Zoo light up; full of vibrant lights during the Vivid Festival, We can have a great time at night on one of Sydney’s iconic ferries taking in the spectacular harbour light show. Join the wildlife at the Taronga Zoo when the zoo comes to life with incredible lights, colour and creativity. We recommend 4 days for this amazing trip.
This tour is our, Fun in the Sun Trip. An action packed 5 days living the lifestyle of the rich and famous on the Gold Coast strip at Burleigh Heads and visiting World Class theme parks, including Movie World and our favourite, Steve Irwin’s, Australia Zoo. Your home away from your usual home where you will be assisted by our trained staff to live independently, learn skills and meet new friends. We provide you and your family with an opportunity to recharge and refresh while your stay away for up to 14 days at a time and enjoys new friendships and experiences in your own city or away on holidays and retreats. . You may choose to have time there during the week, weekends or during holiday periods. We will work with you to select the best dates.
We will help you run through the Short-Term eligibility criteria, options and discuss your support needs to ensure that your needs are met. We will support you through the paperwork process and explain the costs and funding.
